Efteling

Large builing with thatched pointy roof

Where is it? – Europalaan 1, 5171 KW Kaatsheuvel
We visited Eftling in 2022. It’s an amazing theme park in the south of the Netherlands that is great fun for visitors of all ages. I have heard some say it is better than the French Disney parks but we haven’t been to Disney so I can’t draw any direct comparisons.

What I can tell you is it is based on the fairytales by the brothers Grimm such as Snow White, Hansel and Grettle etc. The whole park is themed on these traditional fairytales with loads of exciting attractions and rides.

There is even a fairytale forest where you’ll see loads of fairytales brought to life. There are also rollercoasters too. Our favourite rides were the dark rides like Symbolica and carnival festival.

It’s a great park to visit. Find our full review here – Efteling review

Whether you fancy your chances in the gold rush or want to enjoy the Ripsaw Falls, there is something for everyone here. There are even shows and lots of entertainment taking place throughout the day. A great theme park to head to in The Netherlands.

If it is raining there is also an indoor play area. Plenty of places to sit and eat, and enjoy the surroundings, this is a great theme park to head to.
